The National Judicial College invites
the nation's traffic court judges, magistrates and hearing officers
who currently handle commercial motor vehicle-related cases
to attend cutting-edge traffic safety courses at The National
Judicial College.
The National Judicial College, in addition
to presenting CDL/CMV courses and workshops, has a variety
of traffic related courses that are applicable to judges dealing
with any traffic related case.

Commercial Driver’s Licensing Laws: Judicial Outreach Workshop
May 2-5, 2011 in Reno, NV
This four-day course will not only educate judges, magistrates, and hearing officers on the subject of FMCSA regulations, but it will also provide education on adult learning theory and give participants an opportunity to prepare and present a short presentation. The grant requires that participant judges make at least one presentation relating to FMCSA regulations after attending the course and submit follow-up information regarding their presentations within six months. This is a fully funded course, which includes the cost of training and materials as well as travel and lodging.
